Pre-K Graduation!

Tess has officially graduated from Pre-K! We are so proud of Tess. She has learned so much in her 3 years of preschool. Great job, Tessaroo!!!

More time with Tess

Tess, Emmy and I spent last weekend together! Tess was calling it a "girls" weekend, since Bret is still in China. We walked Emmy a bunch, went to the Saturday Market, bought flowers, and played in the yard all afternoon again!  We had a great time!

Tess really wanted to secretly wash Nana Kim's car because "she would really like it." :) With a little help from Grandpa Dave, she did it! Nana Kim was very surprised and appreciated it very much. :)

The bathroom floor

We replaced our bathroom floor! Well, I ripped up the weird old flooring and had someone install new tile! I love it! I think Bret is happy with it too, although he has only seen pictures since he is still in China. :) Here are some pictures.

Time with Tess

Here are some pictures from a couple of visits ago with Tess. It was a beautiful weekend! We ended up spending all day outside on Saturday. We went to the Saturday Market in the morning and played in the backyard all afternoon. We even ate lunch and dinner outside. Tess wanted to know how many hours we were outside. It ended up being over 10 hours! She was so amazed that she is still talking about it.

Bret goes to China!

Bret received a fellowship through University of Washington to go to China for three weeks! Yeah, Bret! He left back on May 22nd and will return on June 13th.  Here are a couple of pictures we took when he departed Seattle.

We miss him a lot and cannot wait for his return! 

Tess visits Seattle

Tess came up to Seattle for a long weekend a couple of weeks ago. We had a great weekend -- Mariners game, farmers market, Pike Market, Woodland Park Zoo, celebration for Woody, and, of course, the Troll. Here are some pictures of the festivities:
